Arthur was born in 1681. Arthur's father was Amyas CHAMPERNOWNE and his mother was Alice ADDINGTON. His paternal grandparents were Arthur CHAMPERNOWNE and Bridget FULFORD; his maternal grandparents were Thomas ADDINGTON and Alice GIFFORD. He was an only child.
