Alice was born in 1760 in YORK CO., PENNSYLVANIA. Alice's father was George PAYNE and her mother was Rachel COWGILL. Her paternal grandparents were Josiah PAYNE and Martha SHEPHARD; her maternal grandparents were Henry COWGILL and Mary BOULTON. She was an only child.
