Elijah was born in 1791 in NORTH CAROLINA. Elijah's father was William MORRIS and his mother was Rhoda MITCHELL. His paternal grandparents were Philamon MORRIS and Susanna MONTFORD. He had four brothers and three sisters, named John W., Isaac, Henry, William, Kiziah, Nancy and Polly. He died at the age of 74 on October 28th, 1865 in SHELBY CO., TEXAS.General Notes
