George A was born on April 8th, 1881 in ROCKCASTLE CO., KENTUCKY. George A's father was Andrew Jackson HOOD and his mother was Minerva M BUNTON. His paternal grandparents were John Bell HOOD and Mary Elizabeth HENDERSON. He had five brothers and two sisters, named William Pressel, Napolean, Thomas Jefferson, Willis Oscar, Andrew Jackson, Margarette Angline and Louisa. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named James Henderson, John William, Mary Elizabeth and Ann Eliza. He died at the age of 77 on January 25th, 1959 in ROCKCASTLE CO., KENTUCKY. He was buried in 1959 in PINE HILL CEMETERY, ROCKCASTLE CO., KENTUCKY.General Notes
