Oliver HARRIS 
Oliver was born on September 28th, 1763 in POPLAR TENT TERRITORY, MECKLENBURG CO., NORTH CAROLINA. Oliver's father was Robert HARRIS and his mother was Margaret HARPER. His paternal grandparents were James HARRIS and Mary MCILHENNY. He was an only child. He died at the age of 71 on January 25th, 1835 in CAPE GIRARDEAU CO. , MISSOURI. He was buried in January 1835 in OLD APPLE CREEK CEMETERY, APPLE CREEK PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, POCAHONTAS, MISSOURI.General Notes

Margaret and Oliver moved to Cape Girardeau County in 1824. Both are buried in Old Apple Creek Cemetery at Apple Creek Presbyterian Church, one mile south of Pocahontas, Missouri.
