Daniel was born on March 26th, 1766 in STAFFORD, VIRGINIA. Daniel's father was Benjamin FICKLEN and his mother was Margaret GRANT. His paternal grandparents were William FICKLEN and Mme Sarah FICKLEN; his maternal grandparents were John GRANT CAPTAIN and Margaret WATTS. He was an only child. He died at the age of 78 on September 19th, 1844 in FLEMING, KENTUCKY.General Notes
