James SUMNER

James was born on June 19th, 1789 in Middlebury, Addison, Vermont. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Samuel Hall, Son, Ebenezer, Amos, Asa, Elizabeth, Jemima, Hannah, Rachel and Esther.  He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 83 on March 8th, 1873 in Middlebury, Addison, Vermont.
