Cressa was born on March 21st, 1906 in Col Garcia, CHIH, Mexico and her baptism took place there on May 6th, 1906. Cressa's father was Heber Manassah CLUFF and her mother was Susan Caroline Sims. Her paternal grandfather was Moses CLUFF. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Sylvanus, Lavon HARVEY, GRIFFITH, Izetta, Oara (Ora), Priscilla and Drusa Elaine. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She had five half-brothers and eight half-sisters, named Heber Manasseh, Eddie LeRoy, Adelbert, Forrest, Vearl, Sarah Ann, Pearl Geneva, Maud, Lillian, Lavetta, Rella, Roziel and Mae.-
