Her paternal grandparents were Henry CHADBURN and Mary Dorinda LLOYD; her maternal grandparents were James WILSON HUNT and Elizabeth Vaughan. She had two brothers and five sisters, and also two siblings of unknown gender, named Robert Floyd, Louis Alfred, Fay, Ruth, Dora, Mildred, Verna, Vaughan and Imogene.
