Ruth Barney 
Ruth was born on September 27th, 1669 in Salem, Essex, Mass. Ruth's father was Jacob BARNEY and her mother was Ann Witt. Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Barney and Elizabeth CATESBY. She had six brothers and five sisters, named John Witt, Jacob, Joseph, Israel, Jonathan, Samuel, Hannah, Sarah, Abigail, Dorcas and Hannah. She was the sixth oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 28 in 1697 in Bristol, RI.General Notes
