Alcea Celinda Barney

Alcea Celinda was born on August 14th, 1839 in St. Joseph, Brrn, Michigan. Alcea Celinda's father was Edson BARNEY and her mother was Lillis Ballou. Her paternal grandparents were Royal Barney and Rachel Marsh Barney; her maternal grandparents were Seth BALLOU and Sophia Batton Anderson. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Danielson Buren, Olney Ammon, Edson Olney Valroy, Joseph Seth, Alice Malena, Sarah Alcea, Eliza Arabell (or Aribella) and Celinda Alcea. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children. She had two half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named Royal Hyrum, James Alexander, Lucy Matilda, Partha Ann, Lillis Louisa, Emma Jane, Rachel Marsh, Martha Rosetta and Ellen Urselene. She died at the age of 35 on November 7th, 1874.
