Susannah was born on January 3rd, 1695 in Providence, Providence, Rhode Island. Susannah's father was James BALLOU and her mother was Susanna WHITMAN. Her paternal grandparents were Maturin BALLOU and Hannah PIKE; her maternal grandparents were Valentine WIGHTMAN and Mary WHITMAN. She had five brothers and a sister, named James, Nathaniel, Obadiah, Samuel, Nehemiah and Bathsheba. She was the third youngest of the seven children.General Notes
