James BALLOU 
James was born on November 1st, 1684 in Providence, Providence, Rhode Island. James' father was James BALLOU and his mother was Susanna WHITMAN. His paternal grandparents were Maturin BALLOU and Hannah PIKE; his maternal grandparents were Valentine WIGHTMAN and Mary WHITMAN. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Nathaniel, Obadiah, Samuel, Nehemiah, Susannah and Bathsheba. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 79 on February 10th, 1764 in Cumberland, Providence, RI.General Notes
