Lydia was born on May 31st, 1665 in Salisbury, Massachusetts. Lydia's father was Lt. Philip Watson-Challis and her mother was Mary Sargent. Her paternal grandparents were John Challis and Elizabeth Watson; her maternal grandparents were William Sargent and Judith Perkins. She had eight brothers and three sisters, named John, John, Phillip Watson, William, William, Phillip Watson, Thomas, John, Elizabeth, Mary and Hannah. She was the sixth youngest of the twelve children. She died after 1736 in Newbury, Essex, Massachusetts.General Notes
