Henry I was born in April 1008 in Burgundy, France.  Henry I's father was Robert II 'the Pious' Capet and his mother was Constance de Toulouse.  His paternal grandparents were Hugh Capet and Adelaide of Poitou; his maternal grandparents were III Guillaume and Adelaide Blanche d'Anjou. He had two brothers and a sister, named Hugh II, Robert III and Adela (Alix).  He was the second oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 52 on August 4th, 1060 in Vitry-en-Brie, France.


Henry I's first family with Anna Yaroslavna

‌Henry I and Anna were married in a religious ceremony in Rheims, France.  They had three sons and two daughters, named Philippe I 'the Fair', Louis IV, Hugues III 'Magnus', Emma Capet of and Robert.


Henry I's second family with Matilda of Germany

They had a son named Hugh 'the Great'.
