Hugh X "le was born in 1188 in Lusignan, Vienne, France. Hugh X "le's father was Hugh IX De Lusignan and his mother was Mathilde de Angouleme. His paternal grandparents were VIII Hugh and Orengarde de Lusignan; his maternal grandparents were III Wulgram and Elizabeth D'Amboise. He had four brothers named Raoul, Guy, Pierre and Guillaume. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 58 on June 6th, 1246.
