Sir Richard Brereton 
Sir Richard was born about 1490 in Malpas, Cheshire, England. Sir Richard's father was Sir Randall Brereton and his mother was Emma Carrington. His paternal grandparents were Randall Brereton and Katherine Bulkeley; his maternal grandparents were John Carrington and Elizabeth Beeston. He had two brothers and a sister, named Sir Randall, Sir Urian and Eleanor. He was the second youngest of the four children.-
