Cyrus Brackett

Cyrus was born on September 8th, 1788 in Wayland, Middlesex, Massachusetts.  Cyrus' father was John Brackett and his mother was Abigail Tilton.  His maternal grandparents were Capt. John Tilton and Mary. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Samuel, Samuel, Reuben, Josiah, Nabby, Charles Whiting, Charles, Jerusha, Mary and Abigail Lucretia.  He was the oldest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 69 on February 8th, 1858 in Big Rock, Kane, Illinois.

‌Cyrus and Lucy were married in a religious ceremony on August 13th, 1820.  They had a son and a daughter, named Myron Howard and Elizabeth.
