Margaret was born about 1460 in Bewsey, Lancastershire, England. Margaret's father was Sir Thomas Boteler and her mother was Anne Hankford. Her paternal grandparents were James IV Boteler and Joan De Beauchamp; her maternal grandparents were Sir Richard Hankford and Anne De Montague. She was an only child. She died about 1539.-
