Nannie Boelkes 
Nannie was born on October 12th, 1873 in Forreston, Ogle, Illinois. Nannie's father was Hannes Boelkes and her mother was Frederika (Rika) Johanna Kruger. Her maternal grandparents were Christian (Chris) Eilers Kruger and Neone Klaasson Soorholz. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Hannes Jr., Harry A., Albert B., Fred, Chris, Helen and Clara Berdena. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 32 on November 17th, 1905 in Forreston, Ogle, Illinois.-
