Chris Cleveland Berends 
Chris Cleveland was born on March 9th, 1885 in Holland, Iowa. Chris Cleveland's father was Fred Berends and his mother was Jessie Kruger. His maternal grandparents were Christian (Chris) Eilers Kruger and Neone Klaasson Soorholz. He had a brother and six sisters, named Jacob Henry, Mary Ann, Nona Caroline, Lottie Maud, Tillie Lenore, Dena Laverna and Allie Grace. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 65 on November 11th, 1950.-
