Martin F. was born on December 7th, 1894. Martin F.'s father was Carl Heinrich Johann Ludwig Becker and his mother was Margaretha "Maggie" Entner. His paternal grandparents were Heinrich Johann Becker and Maria Margareta Dorothea Bielow Buckow. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Wilhelm Johann, Carl Gottlieb, Leonard John Gottfried, Arthur Frederick Mickael, Albert Carl, Frederick Anton, Karlena "Caroline", Anna "Annie" and Elsa D. "Elsie". He was the fourth youngest of the ten children.-
