Mary Frances Anderson 
Mary Frances was born about 1839 in Hanover County, Virginia. Mary Frances' father was Prof. Harrod John Anderson and her mother was Matilda W. Hope. Her paternal grandparents were John Anderson and Mary Trevilian; her maternal grandparents were Richard Hope and Frances Terrell. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Dr. Harrod Clopton, Thomas, Edmond, John, Horace Franklin, Monroe, Virginia Sophia, Virginia, Harradine, Lucy Ann and Comelia. She was the fifth youngest of the twelve children.-
