Samuel and Abigail were married in a religious ceremony on March 15th, 1829 in Warrick County,Indiana. They had five sons and four daughters, named George, James, John, William, Samuel, Hannah, Emeline, Maria and Nancy.

Maria was born in 1835. She died at the age of 14 on September 15th, 1849. She was buried in Gentry Cem. next to sister Emeline.
William Gentry
William was born on April 6th, 1849. He died at the age of 84 on May 11th, 1933 in Dale,Spencer Co. Indiana. He was buried in Folsomville Cem,Warrick Co.,IN.
