Matthew was born on October 27th, 1601 in Woolbridge,Dorsets,Eng and his baptism took place in ,Devonshire,England.  He died at the age of 80 on December 16th, 1681 in Windsor,Hartford,Connecticut.  He was buried in December 1681 in ,Hartford,CT.
