Marmaduke de Thweng 
Marmaduke was born about 1170 in Thweng,Bridlington,East Riding,Yorkshire, England. Marmaduke's father was Robert de Thweng and his mother was Emma de Lund. His paternal grandfather was Robert de Thweng. He was an only child. He died in 1235 in Yorkshire,England.General Notes
. Marmaduke de Thwenge acted as an attorney in a lawsuit in 1200 on behalf of his overlord, Piers de Brus, and in 1204, he was in custody, when his sureties paid a fine and pledged to restrain him from causing a tumult. He was apparently sympathetic to the northern barons against King John, as in 1217 he is mentioned as one of those who had made peace with the Crown. He often served as judge itinerant, and until August 1240 he acted as coroner in Yorkshire. The identity of his wife has evidently never been found in surviving records, nor is the date of his death known, but he was still living on 23 November 1234.
