John Walters

John was born on April 6th, 1823 in Washington County,Ohio.  John's father was William Walters and his mother was Elizabeth Schriver.  His paternal grandfather was John Walters; his maternal grandparents were John Shriver and Mary---------- UNKNOWN. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Amos Ambrose, Adam, Nathan, William, Jeremiah, Martha, Mary A., Lydia, Phebe and Sarah E..  He was the oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 62 on October 22nd, 1885 in Perry County,Indiana.  He was buried in Lily-dale Cemetary,Perry County,IN.

‌John and Julia A. were married in a religious ceremony on May 23rd, 1844.
