Catherine Staton

Catherine was born in 1790 in North Carolina.  Catherine's father was poss.Jehu Staton and her mother was Mehala.  Her paternal grandmother was Phoebe Unknown. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named Ezekiel, Elijah, George, Joseph, Elizabeth, Phebe, Sarah (Sally), Nancy, Mary (Polly), Sally and Peggy.  She died at the age of 79 on June 22nd, 1869 in Indiana.

‌Catherine and Amos were married in a religious ceremony on November 7th, 1811 in Warren County,Kentucky.
