Mary Belle Sloan 
Mary Belle was born on February 25th, 1869 in Crawford County,Indiana. Mary Belle's father was Benjamin Neal Sloan and her mother was Mary Ann Sands Douthit. Her paternal grandparents were Archibald Sloan and Leannah Bolling; her maternal grandparents were Benjamin Douthit and Maria Riley. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Silas W., Winfield Scott, Archibald Franklin, Elmer Elsworth, Edward, Oliver Howard, Haden Finley, Clarissa Ellen, Rebecca Ann, Lidda Martha and Leannah Caroline. She was the youngest of the twelve children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named William Harrison, John Eads and Janette (Jennett). She died at the age of 58 on November 11th, 1927. She was buried in New Albany Cemetery,New Albany,Floyd County,Indiana.-
