Elma Sligh 
Elma was born on May 20th, 1865.1 Elma's father was Emmanuel S. Sligh and her mother was Sarah D. "Sallie" Glymph. Her maternal grandparents were Lemuel Glymph and Sarah Kinard. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named John Lemuel, Charles William, Thomas Edward, Henry Middleton, James Pickney, Gustavus Beauregard, Robert Lee, Sara "Sallie" Elma, Nora Ella, Ada C. and Minnie F.. She was the sixth youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 35 on July 1st, 1900.1 -
