Robert Shipley 
Robert's father was Robert Shipley and his mother was Elizabeth Stevens. His paternal grandparents were Adam Shipley and Lois Howard; his maternal grandparents were Charles Stevens and Susan Norwood. He had three brothers and five sisters, named William, Charles, George, Elizabeth, Keturah, Lois (Lowis), Ruth and Sarah. He died in moved to Lunenburg Co. VA 1750,later. He was buried in to Mechlenburg Co. NC,1771-2.-
