Rebecca Shepherd 
Rebecca was born on September 26th, 1787 in Wilkes County,North Carolina. Rebecca's father was Robert Shepherd and her mother was Sarah Rash. Her paternal grandparents were George Shepherd and Elizabeth Mary Angelique Day; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Rash and Mary Warren. She had two brothers and seven sisters, named John, James, Elizabeth, Nancy Ann, Mary (Polly), Rhoda, Sarah, Frances (Fanny) and Agnes Jane. She died at the age of 48 on September 22nd, 1836. She was buried in Oak Ridge Cem. Dekalb,Illinois.General Notes
