Thomas Sandage 
Thomas was born on February 9th, 1778 in Union County,South Carolina. Thomas' father was Nathan Sandage and his mother was Mary Canady. His paternal grandparents were Unknown (John?) Sandage and Unknown; his maternal grandfather was Joseph Canady-Kennedy. He had two brothers named Nathan and Moses. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 74 on April 18th, 1852 in Anderson Twp.,Perry County,Indiana.General Notes
Thomas and brother Moses migrated to Perry County, Indiana and settled on
Millstone Creek. Thomas was the founder of the Gilead Baptist Church at
Millstone in 1816. He was licensed to exhort in 1820.
