Mary B. was born on February 15th, 1811 in Perry County,Indiana. Mary B.'s father was Thomas Sandage and her mother was Nancy Ann Simonson. Her paternal grandparents were Nathan Sandage and Mary Canady; her maternal grandparents were Magnus Simonson and Elizabeth-------------- UNKNOWN. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Nathan, Moses, Thomas, William Canady, Daniel, Frances and Eleanor. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She had seven half-brothers and three half-sisters, named John, Jesse, Charles, Elias, Miles, Elihew Halsom, Elijah, Mariah, Esther and Rachel.-
