John Warren was born about 1813 in Wilkes County,North Carolina. John Warren's father was Thomas Rash and his mother was Frances Kilby. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Rash and Mildred (Milly) Isbell; his maternal grandparents were William Kilby and Frances Eddins. He had two brothers and four sisters, named William Kilby, ----------Rash, Mary B., Frances Elizabeth, Sarah M. and Elizabeth M.. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died on November 16th, 1889.General Notes
They lived in Reddies River Township, Wilkes County, North Carolina where he
was pastor of Miller's Creek Methodish Church.
