George Powers

George was born on April 2nd, 1814 in Warrick County,Indiana.  George's father was Isaac H. Powers and his mother was Abigail Davis.  His paternal grandparents were poss Charles Powers and Hannah UNKNOWN. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John D., Charles, Samuel, Marsham (Massa), Isaac, poss. Judah or Judith, Abigail and Mariah.  He was the second youngest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 61 on January 2nd, 1876.  He was buried in Mt. Zion Cem. Hart Twp,Warrick Co. IN.

‌George and Agnes (Aggy) were married in a religious ceremony on October 6th, 1833 in Warrick County,Indiana.  They had two sons and five daughters, named Andrew J., John, Mary Eliza, Nancy, Elizabeth, Lucinda and Rachel.

‌George and Harriet were married in a religious ceremony on March 27th, 1851.  They had a son and four daughters, named Truman Glenn, Mariah, Margaret Ellen, Minerva J. and Agnes.

‌George and Mary Jane were married in a religious ceremony on December 19th, 1864.
