Elizabeth and Joshua were married in a religious ceremony in 1777. They had three sons and two daughters, named James, Jethro, Joshua, Elizabeth and Mary.

James was born in 1778 in Kent County,Delaware. He died at the age of 74 on March 6th, 1852 in Shelby County,Ohio.
Joshua Dewees
Joshua was born in 1783 in Kent County,Delaware. He died at the age of 19 on June 4th, 1802.
