Robert was born in 1573 in of,Norfolk,Norfolk,England. Robert's father was Edward Mansel Sir Knight and his mother was Jane Somerset Lady. His maternal grandparents were Henry Somerset *E Worcest and Elizabeth Browne. He had ten brothers and four sisters, named Francis, Anthony, Philip, Thomas, Christopher, Harry (Henry), William, Edward, Charles |Mansel|, Rhys, Elsbeth, Cecily, Mary and Anne. He was the second youngest of the fifteen children. He died at the age of 83 in 1656 in (sp).General Notes
