George Malone 
George was born in 1757 in Lunenberg,VA.1 George's father was Isham Malone and his mother was Judith Cole. His paternal grandparents were Drury Malone and Martha Jones; his maternal grandparents were William Cole and Mary Roscow. He was an only child. He died at the age of 61 in 1818 in Wilkes Co.,GA.1 General Notes
Four Malones came from Lincolnshire County, England, two went to New York, two to Statesville, NC. In 1798, George Malone and his wife Martha left North Caro lina and came to Wilkes Co., GA.
Purchased 300 acres in Wilkes Co, GA on 12/ 20/1798 on Kittle Creek. Listed in the Wilkes Co. Tax Digest 1813 thru 1818, ye ar of his death. Before 1807 George bought two lots, 143 and 157, in newly form ed Baldwin County, GA in 16th lan d district. This land later became a part o R andolph Co and the Jasper County in 1812. George probably move to this property as his estate was administered in Jasper Co.[New Cunard.ged]
