Louis VI 'the Fat' King of France was born in 1081 in Herbst.1   Louis VI 'the Fat' King of France's father was Philippe I King of France and his mother was Bertha van Holland.  His paternal grandparents were Henri I King of France, Duke of Burgundy, Count of Paris and Anna (Agnes) of Kiev Jaroslawna. He had a sister named Constance Princess of France.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died at the age of 56 on August 1st, 1137 in Chateau Bethizy,Paris,France.  He was buried in St. Denis,Paris,Seine,France.1 1
