Edmund Sylvester was born on November 6th, 1880 in Perry County,Indiana. Edmund Sylvester's father was Thomas Lincoln and his mother was Frances Jane Cassidy. He was an only child. He died in Calumet Park Cem. Merrillville,Indiana.
Edmund Sylvester and Mary Belva were married in a religious ceremony on October 18th, 1903 in by John W. Goldman. They had four sons and three daughters, named Calvert Joseph, Earl Thomas, Forrest Lee, Merle Francis, Lola Bernice, Genevieve and Joyce.

Lola Bernice was born on November 24th, 1913. She died at the age of 68 on December 23rd, 1981.
