Griffin Gray

Griffin was born on October 11th, 1828 in North Carolina.  Griffin's father was Joseph Gray and his mother was Amelia (Millie).  His paternal grandfather was poss John Blair Gray. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Isaac, William, Benjamin F or I, Barnibus B. (Barney), Joseph, Martin, Charles, David, Anna, Lydia and Margaret.  He was the second youngest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 74 on September 3rd, 1903 in Terre Haute,Vigo County,Indiana.

‌Griffin and Anna were married in a religious ceremony on May 7th, 1868 in Terre Haute,Vigo County,Indiana.  They had a son and a daughter, named Griffin and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Celinda.
