Jean Gracey 
Jean was born in 1708 in Ireland. Jean's father was John O'Gracey and her mother was Jean Sinclair. She had a brother named Patrick. She was the younger of the two children. She died at the age of 64 on September 18th, 1772 in Rowan Co.,NC. She was buried in Thyatira Church Cem,Rowan,NC.
Jean and John were married in a religious ceremony in 1737 in Colerain,Londonberry,N. Ireland. They had seven sons and a daughter, named William, Absalom, John , Jr., Joseph, James, Benjamin, Samuel , Sr. and Mary.

James was born in 1752 in Rowan Co.,NC. He died at the age of 42 on October 10th, 1794 in Huntersville,Mecklenburg Co.,NC.
