Joseph Cunningham 
Joseph was born in 1720 in Ireland. Joseph's father was Alexander Cunningham and his mother was Rebecca Burns. His paternal grandparents were David Cunningham and Rachel Bruce. He had three brothers named Hugh, Robert and David. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 81 in 1801 in Virginia.General Notes
Joseph and Elizabeth never came to America. He was in the service of the Eng.
government on the west coast of Ireland, in Mayo County. They lived near Cas-
tlebar and liiked ofter government business at Clew Bay and Killada Bay. Son
John took passage to Philadelphia to visit Mother's people,Harries' and uncles
Uncles Cunningham in Virginia.
