John F. Couffer 
John F. was born on June 18th, 1869 in Pennsylvania. John F.'s father was William R. Couffer and his mother was Louisa Houser. His paternal grandfather was William Couffer; his maternal grandparents were Michael Houser and Elizabeth. He had two brothers and six sisters, named William E., George, Mary E., Alice Elizabeth, Katherine, Emma, India Ola and Dona English. He died at the age of 58 on October 10th, 1927 in Baxter Springs,KS. He was buried in Oak Hill Cemetry,Galena,KS.-
