Thomas was born in 1720 in Virginia. He died at the age of 63 in 1783 in Spartanburg,Spartanburg Cty.,SC.
They had eight sons and four daughters, named John, Joseph Eligah, William, Thomas, Drury, Isaac, James, Benjamin, Judith, Martha Patsy, Elizabeth and Patty.
