Rosamond De was born about 1136 in Of Clifford Castle,Clifford,Herefordshire,England.  Rosamond De's father was Walter De CLIFFORD and her mother was Margaret De TONI.  Her paternal grandparents were Richard FITZPONS and Maude FITZWALTER. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named Henry, Walter De, Richard De, Robert De, Roger De, Simon De, Hugh De, William De, Amicia De and Lucia De.  She was the second oldest of the eleven children.  She died about 1176 in Woodstock,Oxfordshire,England.  She was buried about 1176 in Godstow Nunnery,Wolvercote,Oxfordshire,England.
