Joshua Chaffin 
Joshua was born in 1725 in Charlotte,VA.1 Joshua's father was John Chaffin. His paternal grandfather was John Chaffin. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Christopher, Joseph, Rachel and Ruth. He died at the age of 79 in 1804 in Charlotte,VA.1 
‌Joshua and Esther were married in a religious ceremony in 1748 in Prince Edward,VA. They had eight sons and three daughters, named Isham, Ephraim, Jesse, John, Joseph, Joshua, Rhoda, Thomas, Anne, Easter and Sarah.
