Joseph CLEGG

Joseph was born on February 22nd, 1844 in Preston,Lncshr,Engl. Joseph's father was Jonathan CLEGG and his mother was Ellen WALMSLEY. His paternal grandparents were Henry Sr. CLEGG and Ellen CARDWELL; his maternal grandparents were Isaac Weaver WALMSLEY and Elizabeth C. HICKHAM (HIGHMAN). He had five brothers and two sisters, named James, William, William, Henry, Henry, Alice and Margaret Ellen. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 2 in 1846.
