Sarah Jane Butts 
Sarah Jane was born on July 28th, 1848 in Howard,Missouri. Sarah Jane's father was William Mason Butts and her mother was Matilda Jane Yager. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Newgent Butts and Catherine Gaines Broaddus. She had two brothers and a sister, named John Alfred, James Albert and Susan Octavia. She was the oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 69 on February 4th, 1918 in Norman,Oklahoma. She was buried in I.O.O.F Cemetery,Norman,Oklahoma.-
